The Touch of Love
One thing I love about Fridays is the fact that it begins a well needed weekend of recuperation. After a great family trip to Jamaica, the work week was followed by… well, work! And when I got home Kandis was upstairs reading in full “relax” mode and gear. (Pajamas) I asked her if everything was alright. She said that she was having some “me and baby time.” O.K.
I offered to leave and she asked me to stay with her. O.K.
I joined her in the bed and we talked. It was pretty nice. I love talking about the baby. And then Kandis took my hand and placed it under her midsection. “Do you feel that?” she asked. It felt like a hard lump and my first reaction was “Yeah I feel it. What is it?” And that’s when Kandis said, “It’s the baby”. O.K.
I wanted to touch it again. So I asked her to put my hand on the baby again. She said, “O.K.”
I wanted to touch the baby again and again. The baby moved and I felt it.
The baby is so small, but my love for it is so large.
I touched my child today.
It was the touch of love!

As you think about your baby remember or read the story of Hannah 1 and 2 chapter of Samuel:
-Hannah age
-Hannah husband loved her dearly
-Hannah ask for a child
-Hannah gave her child back to
the Lord.
-Hannah heart rejoiced in the
Lord.
We are to continue as Hannah did, to rejoice in the Lord now and forever more, especially when he or she answer the Lord's calling.
