A Happy Valentines Day
This year’s Valentines Day was truly a happy one. With the outpouring of love from friends and family members regarding yesterday’s post, I felt comforted. Not because of the phone calls, not because of the e-mails, but because of the thoughts and prayers of loved ones. Thank you. Thank you for caring so much about me, Kandis, and the baby.
So how is “Mama” doing? Well, just like she wrote in her last post, “Mama is still here” and she’s doing fine. No more “spotting”. And since she never felt any discomfort or cramping, we all feel better. Our next doctor’s visit is on Friday, February 23rd, and we will discuss the incident with Dr. Stokes.
Today was a Happy Valentines Day. I must admit, I was on the verge of calling the doctor myself, but Kandis knows her body. She knew when she was pregnant and she knows if there’s something serious going on with the pregnancy. We both agreed that if any other "spotting" occurs, then we will go to the hospital. Believe me; Kandis is nothing like me when it comes to seeing a doctor. I have to be REALLY sick before I even CONSIDER going to the hospital. But Kandis is different. And with another person inside her, she will not take any chances.
So I hope, despite the “scare”, that everyone had a Happy Valentines Day…we did!
